In Her Shoes: May Gunsul

We've teamed up with Lady Guns Global to launch a collaborative new series called In Her Shoes, where we get to know these Lady Guns and dig deep into their daily lives as we "walk a week in her shoes." And of course, what shoes would be better to represent this concept than our kicks.

First things first: what's a Lady Gun? A lady gun is an important or powerful women who has inspired another. Lady Guns Founder Raydene Salinas, has built this brand and created an innovative platform to share stories of powerful women in our communities, to spread inspiration and empowerment among her readers.

Our first Lady Gun to give us a peek into her life for our In Her Shoes series, is May Gunsul. May is a mom and photographer who lives in Portland, Oregon.

She took her Biloxi Red Stripes out on the town as she shared what inspires her in her daily life. She also speaks to the ease and comfort of our shoes and how she likes to wear them!

“I love how Blu Kicks are comfortable and easy to wear. I’m running around all day after the kids, so comfort and ease are incredibly high on my list of needs. Plus, I love how they add a pop of color to a basic outfit... I love throwing on a linen top and boyfriends jeans or shorts, and the red stripes on my Blu Kicks are an understated but sweet addition.”
