On the Road
This week, we headed up the coast from San Francisco, soaking up the sun (and fog) & taking in the gorgeous coastline.
We hit the road on Highway 1, passing Muir Beach Overlook and on through Stinson Beach up to Bolinas, where we stopped at the Gospel Flat Farmland, an honor-system vegetable market. The market's rules? Eat local & be polite. We did just that.
A bit further North, we headed to Nicasio Ranch, tucked away in the hills of West Marin. Nicasio means "the hidden one" - a fitting name for an unspoiled frontier town with a volunteer fire department.

Onward to Point Reyes Station...The drive is scenic, and the destination more than holds up its end of the bargain too.

We made our way back towards the coast with a stop in Marshall at Hog Island Oyster Company, the ultimate picnic spot.

Our final destination: Nick's Cove. Bloody Mary's and more oysters. Yes, please.
